About the Artist
I have been playing and writing music a long time. The religious themes have developed during the last few years after a Presbyterian Cursillo weekend.

You may notice a C&W influence in many of the songs . . . this is bred from years of listening and playing in the genre, still a favorite.

I would have to say that musically I have been influenced by probably everyone I have ever heard. I remember early on deliberately writing a "Bob Dylan" song or "James Taylor" song or a "Paul Simon" song . . . even "Alice Cooper". . . George Strait, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Beatles, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Buddy Holly, Eagles, Duke Ellington . . . I can't even remember all of the important musical references . . . but they are all in the music somehow.

Recently the inspirations are brought to me from a source that is both familiar and mysterious. I read the Bible. I listen to the testimony of others. I observe the created world. I listen to my own silence whenever I can achieve it. Sometimes I work very hard to write a song and at other times it is literally given to me. I am almost reluctant to claim credit for the latter, but no one else is in the room . . .

Blah blah blah . . . yeah, I know . . .

Listen to the songs. If they don't speak for themselves then what's the point?
